High on the Repton School Library building, (The old Priory) is an unusual clock - a sundial. The dial bears the latin inscription 'Fugit Hora. Ora. Labora' which means 'Time passes. Pray. Work.' The clock face is engraved with the roman numerals from 6am to 5pm.
